Service Description
The New York State Department of Public Health requires individuals who wish to meet the Camp Aquatics Director for NYS Children’s Camp Bathing Facilities requirement to complete an in-person test after completing the Lifeguard Management Online Course. To participate in this in-person testing for the written exam, each participant must have a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Management certificate that has been completed no more than 90 days prior to the in-person testing session. Successful participants will receive a certificate that is valid for 2 years from the date of the in-person testing session. To meet the New York state requirement, participants must present the Lifeguard Management certificate and the Lifeguard Management Testing Session certificate.

Cancelation Policy
Preregistration is required for all courses, walk-ins are not permitted due to pre-course work. Full refunds will be given up to 72 hours (3 days) prior to the course start date. A 25% cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations less than 72 hours (3 days) prior to the course start date. A 50% cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations less than 24 hours prior to the course start date. NO refund will be given after course starts (to include but not limited to: failure to complete online blended learning material, failure of prerequisites, failure of course, not showing up on time, not showing to class, or disruptive behavior. However, you can take the next class FREE of charge until you successfully pass the course or the date exceeds 6 months after purchase of course. NO refund will be given for any course books or pocket masks purchased. NO refund will be given for any online only courses or fees paid directly to third party companies (ARC, AHA, etc.). A $50 service fee for all returned checks. Please arrive to class early as catching up on missed material will be hard. The doors will close at START of class and participants will be considered absent from class, no exceptions. Classes require a minimum number of participants to run. For low enrollment courses, the class will be canceled. Participants will be notified and given the choice to enroll in another upcoming course or offered a full refund.
