
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Review

The primary purpose of the American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuers review course is to review the course content within a formal class setting. The format optimizes a participant's ability to successfully complete the knowledge and skills evaluations. The responsibility for preparing for the final written exam is shared by the instructor and the participant.
PREREQUISITES
Candidates must possess a current American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Certification.
PARTICIPANTS MUST MEET ALL PREREQUISITES TO TAKE THE COURSE.

Approximately 3 hours
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To successfully complete the CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuers Review course, candidate must:

Attend and actively participate in all course sessions.

Demonstrate competency in all required skills.

Successfully pass the final written exam with a minimum grade of 80%.
CERTIFICATE ISSUED/ VALIDITY PERIOD
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuers is valid for 2 years.
However, for NYS only, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer is only valid for 1 year.
SCHEDULE
Can be taken on the second day of any scheduled Lifeguarding course.
