
Emergency Medical Response Review

The purpose of the American Red Cross Emergency Medical Response Review course is to provide participants the opportunity to review the course content within a formal class setting. A review course allows eligible individuals to recertify and receive a certificate for EMR without participating in a full course.
PREREQUISITES
Participant must possess a current American Red Cross Emergency Medical Response certification (or equivalent) or certificate that has expired by no more than 30-days.
PARTICIPANTS MUST MEET ALL PREREQUISITES TO TAKE THE COURSE.
LENGTH
Approximately 30 hours, 15 minutes
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To successfully complete the Emergency Medical Response (EMR) Review course, candidate must:

Attend and actively participate in all course sessions.

Demonstrate competency in all required skills and scenarios..

Successfully complete the Putting It All Together sessions.

Pass the final practical examination.

Successfully pass two written final exams with a minimum grade of 80%.
CERTIFICATE ISSUED/ VALIDITY PERIOD
Emergency Medical Response with Basic Life Support is valid for 2 years.
